Corporate Transparency Act Enforcement Placed on Hold

On December 3, 2024, the United States District Court (Eastern District of Texas/Sherman Division) issued a preliminary nationwide injunction barring the enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act.

Reportedly, there is still a possibility of a quick appeal and reversal, and that 01/01/25 reporting date could still be enforced.
